Senior Management Position Site Manager ECE III
You are a Child Care Professional who demonstrates a commitment to children and the Early Childhood Profession. You have a positive outlook with a belief in the ethic of caring and inclusion. You will report to the Centre School Age Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Professional ECE III with minimum of two (2) years experience in a licensed child care program in a supervisory/ management role
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to lead an effective team
- A love and acceptance of all children
- A thorough knowledge the Emergent Curriculum
- A thorough knowledge of child development
- Experience working with children in a supported environment
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team of professionals
- A willingness to work and think in a collegial manner as a team member
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to the ECE field through ongoing professional development experiences
- A willingness to abide by the MB Child Care Standards Act and the Policies of the Centre

Morrow Avenue Child Care (Infant, P/S & S/A)

Full/part time positions for men/women to provide individual support to children during non school hours.
Vehicle required for transportation between sites. Vehicle allowance provided. Variable hours –may involve split shifts. Must be willing to take required 40hr child care course or have equivalent education. Preference will be given to those with experience in a child care or classroom setting.

Inclusion Specialist
Under the direction of the Coordinator of Inclusion Services, the Inclusion Specialist, a member of the Inclusion Team, is required to implement MACCPF’s Inclusion Program in order to successfully support children and their families.
- To model and endorse the positive principles of inclusion and diversity;
- To develop and implement an adaptable curriculum that meets the needs of the child and the philosophy and goals of the Centre.
- To maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.
- To relate to, and teach the child in ways that foster respect, honesty, trust and self-confidence.
- To communicate with the parents, in order to develop a positive and supportive family centred relationship.
- To maintain a high standard of professionalism with regards to the child, the staff, the school, the community and outside agencies.
- To maintain the Manitoba Regulation 62/86 as defined by the Community Child Day Care Standards Act.
Qualifications:
- demonstrates exceptional written and oral skills;
- ECE III with specific training in inclusion at the post diploma or degree level. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- familiar with IP’s
- demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of child development;
- possesses strong behaviour management skills;
- previous experience working with children with complex needs;
- ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
- previous experience working within a child care setting;
- experienced in the use of evaluating programs with ECERs R and collaborative goals setting;
- attends professional development opportunities as required or recommended;
- Classification by the Manitoba Child Care (or be willing to apply);
- possesses a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or will complete one);
- will submit to Child Abuse and Criminal Records checks
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a daily Communication Book for each child, and;
- Participates in all meetings with referring agencies, and;
- Develops IP’s with Site Manager and Coordinator of Inclusion Services, and;
- Attends relevant Site Staff Meetings to ensure that principles of inclusion and diversity are maintained, and;
- Attends all Inclusion Team meetings.
Based on the described qualifications and responsibilities, the salary will be consistent with the current MACCPF Salary Scale.
Room Leader for Senior School Age Program - ECE II/III
