At MACCPF we recognize and respect every individual's right to privacy. Our History
Morrow Avenue Child Care Programs were established in 1987 in the Salvation Army Church at 51 Morrow Avenue. As the need for quality-licensed care grew, the centre expansion brought us to Victor Mager School (1990), Hastings School (1994), Ecole Marie-Anne Gaboury (1998), Lavallee West School (1998), Victor H.L.Wyatt School (1999), Glenwood School (2000), Dr. D.W.Penner School (2004), Archwood School (2004) Lavallee East (2005) and Centre 24/7 (2005).
In 1998, Morrow Avenue Child Care was selected as one of the Research Sites for Early Start, an Early Childhood initiative for Kingergarten Readiness, funded through the Healthy Child Initiative. December of 1999 heralded the creation of the S.P.A.C.E. (Site for Parent and Child Education) Program operating out of our Victor Wyatt Site. Programs run by the Family Resource Coordinator include Parent-Child Mother Goose, Family Games Night, Family Literacy and a host of other programs designed to encourage positive family relationships.
Morrow Avenue child Care is a proud member of the St. Vital community offering flexible care and programs to suit a variety of child and family needs. All locations are staffed by Professional Early Childhood Educators (ECE) providing a strong, inclusive multicultural environment with services available to children of all abilities.
